Mariana Evstatieva-Biolcheva is a Bulgarian film director. Mariana Evtimova Evstatieva-Biolcheva was born on August 29, 1939 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. She graduated in "film and TV directing" at the Higher theatrical, TV and Film Institute in Lodz, Poland (1971). She has worked in the Boyana Film Studios since 1971 to 1992. Since 1996 he has been taught at the New Bulgarian University and in 2002 he was a president of the Art Council of the Bulgarian National Television . She is an author of more than 30 documentaries and popular, and around 20 feature and television films. Her films 'Moments in a Matchbox' and 'A Husband for Mum' won Silver Awards at Moscow Film Festival. She was a professor of "film and TV directing" in New Bulgarian University. Ivo Peitchev was born on 27 October 1959 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. He is a cinematographer, known for Hunter Killer (2018), Hellboy (2019) and The Fourth Kind (2009).- Daniela has been involved in sports professionally since 2014.
She started fitness as an amateur and only a year later he was already a professional bodybuilding competitor.
Participations in more than 16 competitions at home and abroad followed. He was married to Jeanne-Claude. He died on 31 May 2020 in New York City, New York, USA.- Rada Stefanova Moskova was born on May 3, 1933 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria . In 1960, she graduated from Medical University. She worked as a medic in Gabrovo, as well as a playwright in the Central Puppet Theatre, the National Theatre for Youth (1962-1980) and the Puppet Theatre (1981). She is an author of puppet plays, including "Angry Letters"; "Buzzer". Among her best-known books are "Butterfly" (poems for children) (1968); "Hey, nag!" (Talk) (1982); "Pieces of Time"(poems) (1995). Moskova wrote screenplay of the movies "Dog in a drawer" (1982), "Up Cherry" (1984), "Hi, Grandma!" Pavel Vladimirov is a famous Bulgarian TV-host, presenter and actor, recognized as one of the faces of the popular morning show "Hello, Bulgaria!". He gained a lot of popularity after the second season of the show for imitations "Your Face Sounds Familiar" in 2014. Beside television, Pavel always loved acting. He made his first steps in his hometown Gabrovo when he was ten. Just before graduating he played in the traditional annual performance of the Drama group at The Foreign Language School in Lovech. Then he moved to Sofia to study International relations. It was his parents' wish, but he never stopped pursuing his dream and enlisted in Boncho Urumov Youth Theatre Studio in Sofia. At that period he appeared in many commercials and shot a lot of shorts, documentaries and student films.Then he graduated Acting for film at New Actors Film Generation in Sofia and completed the famous Bulgarian actor - Mihail Bilalov intensive acting class.His first appearance on the big screen was in the comedy "Operation Shmenti Capelli" in 2010. Then he played The Reporter in all the four seasons of the successful Bulgarian sitcom "Condominium". At that time he took part at the pilot of a comedy TV-show called "Men" but unfortunately the TV-s supposed to launch it decided not to shoot the series, because of changes in the budget. In 2015 Pavel starred in the military action drama "Inches from the Ground", directed by the scandalous Bulgarian director - Maxim Genchev. In 2017 he appeared in the 3-rd season of the hit Bulgarian TV-show "Stolen Life" and in the comedy "Sex Academy: Men". Nikolay Lazarov was born on January 25, 1950 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. In 1969 he graduated Mechanical School in Gabrovo. The same year he won silver and bronze medal at the "5th National Festival of amateur cinema". In 1974 he graduated State Cinema Institute in Moscow with a degree "cinematographer". In 1998 he protected academic title Associate Professor, and in 2001 - the degree Doctor of Science. In 2006 he won the contest in National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria for a full-time professor, film studies. His cinema debut was in 1976 with the feature film "Rush", directed by Ognyan Surdalov. Since 1993 he has operated as a freelancer. Since 1996 to 2002 he was the Technical Chief of Audiovisual Orpheus Studios. Since 2002 to 01.12.2011 he was Executive Producer of Audiovisual Orpheus Studios. He has directed 29 feature films, 40 documentaries and prestigious advertising. Prizes of his film: Special prize of the festival in Krakow 81 for Memory of a man, directed by Nikolay Lazarov; Award Europe in Strasbourg (1989) and Award in Tokio for the movie Without Anesthesia, directed by Yuliya Kancheva; Silver Dragon in Krakow (1989) for the film Life is Before Us, directed by Yuliya Kancheva; FIPRESCI prize and Best Greek Film Award for "Slaughtering of the rooster", directed by Andreas Pantzis at 37 International Film Festival, Thessaloniki, 1996; Jury Award at International Film Festival "Love is folly" in Varna and special prize "for contribution to the development of film language" for 'Slaughtering of the rooster", directed by Andreas Pantzis (1996). Her journey began in the high school choir, where she honed her singing and piano skills, while also performing in theatre plays. In 2019, she achieved recognition as a soprano in the renowned "Music Laboratory for the Human Self" choir and the outstanding Genesis Orchestra under maestro Yordan Kamdzhalov, performing in concerts nationwide and shooting several music productions.
Transitioning into acting, In 2021 Stefani studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, learning from Hollywood-famous teachers and also the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, meanwhile being filmed in short student films. The following year she expanded her horizons into modeling and commercials. In 2023, Stefani made her mark on the small screen as Violeta in the Bulgarian TV series "Sofia At Home" and participated in the reality show "Runway Reels - Fashion on Film" during the summer. She also made a memorable catwalk on the runway for Sofia Fashion Week and participated in the Miss Sofia pageant, where she showcased her charisma and grace.

Emil Abadzhiev was born on 25 February 1940 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. He is a director, known for Triptih: Klyuchalkata, Shamarat, Kuklovod (1974), Left, Right .... (1989) and Baloncheto (1976).- Anani Yavashev was a Bulgarian actor. Anani Vladimirov Yavashev was born on October 18, 1932 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. He graduated in "acting" in National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria (1956). Since 1956 he had been an actor in Gabrovo Drama Theater and since 1958 at the Youth Theatre in Sofia. He played many roles in the Youth Theatre; the most memorable of them were performances of "Romeo and Juliet," "Richard III", "Kitchen." He was the grandson of archaeologist and botanist Anani Yavashev and brother of artist Christo Yavashev - Cristo. He was a member of the Union of Bulgarian Actors and the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers. Anani received the title "Honored Artist" (1986) and the Order "Cyril and Methodius."

Pencho Bogdanov was a director, screenwriter, also a journalist. Pencho Stefanov Bogdanov was born on September 27, 1923 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. He graduated from the famous secondary school in Gabrovo (1942), two-year seminar on journalism (1947-1948), graduated (without diploma) Faculty of Medicine at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski "(1950). Pepa Misirkova was born on 15 June 1910 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. She was a costume designer, known for Rebro Adamovo (1956), Trimata ot zapasa (1971) and Godini za lyubov (1957). She died in December 1998 in Sofia, Bulgaria.- In 1978 - 1981 he studied at the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts - Sofia, Bulgaria - acting for drama theater in the classes of prof. Nikolay Lyutzkanov with assistant Margarita Mladenova. As theater actor Dokov played in Drama Theater, Dimitrovgrad, Bulgaria (1981-84); Drama Theater, Haskovo, Bulgaria (1985-89), Theater "Sfumato", Sofia (1989 -1992.) Since 2003 till nowadays he is an actor in National Theater 'Ivan Vazov', Sofia, Bulgaria. During his career, Dokov has played more than 50 characters in the theater and has starred in many features. Bozhidar Petkov was born on July 29, 1940 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Krakow, Poland in 1965. He studied composition with Stanislav Viehovic and Krzysztof Penderecki. He worked at the Bulgarian National Radio (1968-84) and at the Bulgarian Copyright Agency (1984-90). In 1974 he was invited by Georgi Djulgerov to compose the music for the film "" The Wardrobe". Three years later the music for the film "Advantage" brought him popularity. Up to 1990 he composed actively theatre and film music (including music to over 90 cartoons, documentaries and feature films), which brought him prestigious national and international prizes. Later he focused mainly on instrumental music. His Toccata for two pianos was performed and acclaimed in France, Germany, Luxembourg, Russia, Japan, Cuba, etc. Works of his were recorded for the Bulgarian National Radio and included in a CD released by the recording company Gega New. Bozhidar Petkov died on May 14, 2015 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
